Team NAMTKD.COM Running Team Mr. J. J. Jones, Mr. Joe Seifert, and Master Nam Nguyen ran the Tender Hearts Foundation 5K Run in Burnsville in an effort to help end youth homelessness. Great team effort amongst all the members!

Master Nam's second half marathon! We started in Wayzata and ended in Excelsior. The course had tremendous scenic beauty than spanned through six Lake Minnetonka communities, including several stretches along the lake. The weather was warm and sunny. I kept pace for 7 miles and was doing very good until the 9th mile and it was deja vu all over again! My legs cramped up. I persevered and fought through one charley horse after another. I finished strong and it felt good.

The Nguyen School of Tae Kwon Do and several close friends participated in the 5K Run/Walk to help raise awareness of colorectal cancer in communities across the country. Although the wind had a slight chill to it as a team we had an awesome time!

Master Nam's first half marathon! We started in Wayzata and ended in Excelsior. The course had tremendous scenic beauty than spanned through six Lake Minnetonka communities, including several stretches along the lake. The weather was very windy and cool, but luckily the wind was blowing from behind until the last two miles then it was really tough. I started off slow the first 4 miles and then tried to keep up with some runners. My legs started to cramp up at about the 9th mile and pretty much hobbled the rest of the way. Mr. Joe and Mrs. Arlene Seifert came and showed their wondrous support and cheered for us as we crossed the finish line. It was a fun time!

We celebrated at a restaurant afterwards. Year 2008 here we come...
